Make yourself a priority!

I know a lot of us have children, partners, families, and friends that we always jump for.

We tend to put everyone before ourselves.

Put yourself before everyone else.

I recently had a child, my child is literally my entire world.

I, personally feel like I have to come before my child though…

Let me explain why before you start looking at me like I have shit on my face.

I know everyone doesn’t have the same opinion, but here’s mine.

Children need to be taken care of, properly.

Physically, financially, mentally, emotionally.

I have to watch my back and set myself up with a stable lifestyle before I can care for anyone in this lifetime, especially a child.

When my child is in need, I have to make sure I get her whatever it is that she needs…

WHY?

Because shorty can’t get it herself.

Literally, she can’t.

So in order to care for my little one, I need to check myself and have myself together FIRST.

Makes sense, right?

When I first found out I was pregnant, I made a promise that as long as I’m breathing, my child will never go without, so I have to care for myself to care for her.

I’m keeping that promise and I will always keep that promise!

There is no rainbow where the sun doesn’t shine.

Pick yourself first.
